Southeast Senior Ceter Celebrates 20 Years!
For 20 years, members at the Southeast Senior Center have enjoyed coming to the Center to visit with their friends and make news ones! The special celebration was held March 25th and included a donated spaghetti dinner by Olive Garden and special guests including Councilwoman Vicky Haley, County Commissioner Luis Sanchez, Former Mayor Carroll Thomas and City of Midland Health & Senior Services Director Sal Garcia!
The Southeast Senior Center is opened Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00, and is located at 1801 E. Indiana near Washington Park. A hot, healthy lunch is served daily congregate style. Members also enjoy the health and wellness clinics, the computer lab, ceramics, exercise classes, scrapbooking classes and participating in billiards, cards and other table games. For more information call 685-7231.
